I’ve been craving sushi lately, so I tried to whip up a quick sushi-inspired dish with whatever I could find in the freezer/fridge. My “sushi bowl” turned out so delicious, I just had to post it here. You’ll have to excuse my photos – our living room is extremely dark at night and my mouth was watering too much to take more than a second to snap a couple pics.
- Sauté shrimp until pink and curled. Toss in soy sauce and cayenne pepper and set aside.
- Sauté pineapple in the same pan, so it picks up the soy and cayenne flavoring. Pour over shrimp.
- Crush up wasabi flavored seaweed snack and sprinkle over bowl.
- Voila! Pair with potstickers for a quick, yummy meal in under 10 minutes.
