Grilled Shrimp and Pineapple Sushi Bowl

I’ve been craving sushi lately, so I tried to whip up a quick sushi-inspired dish with whatever I could find in the freezer/fridge. My “sushi bowl” turned out so delicious, I just had to post it here. You’ll have to excuse my photos – our living room is extremely dark at night and my mouth was watering too much to take more than a second to snap a couple pics.

Β Ingredients:
Wild Red Argentinian Shrimp (Trader Joes)
Frozen pineapple
Rice
Soy Sauce
Cayenne Pepper
Wasabi Flavored Seaweed snack (Trader Joes)
Olive oil

Directions:

  1. SautΓ© shrimp until pink and curled. Toss in soy sauce and cayenne pepper and set aside.
  2. SautΓ© pineapple in the same pan, so it picks up the soy and cayenne flavoring. Pour over shrimp.
  3. Crush up wasabi flavored seaweed snack and sprinkle over bowl.
  4. Voila! Pair with potstickers for a quick, yummy meal in under 10 minutes.

Cheers!
